The Care Provider Alliance
The Care Provider Alliance (CPA) brings together the ten main national associations which represent independent and voluntary adult social care providers in England. We work to represent the sector and ensure a coordinated response to the major issues that affect it.
The CPA has published guidance to help overcome any concerns local authorities or the NHS might have about engaging with individual adult social care providers on behalf of the wider sector. The "Seven principles for the engagement of individual providers on behalf of the wider sector" are based closely on the widely recognised "Seven principles of public life."
New Project - Improving Equality in Social Care
Skills for Care and the CPA have launched a project to explore the scale of the challenges for employers when drawing on the talent of black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) staff. The work will explore good practice in the sector and will seek to put in place practical proposals to overcome the obstacles.
