One of our workstreams is to support the Government with vaccination rollouts.

Flu vaccination for social care staff directly working with people clinically vulnerable to flu, as well as carers, is strongly encouraged.

The flu season has come several weeks early this winter, and for that reason, the Government believes that it is important to ensure that as many staff in the Adult Social Care sector, take up the offer of flu vaccination for this season, as quickly as possible.

This letter reinforces the importance of flu vaccinations and includes information on the vaccine from UKHSA, and information on eligibility and how to book a flu vaccine for your staff.
