After entering Downing Street as Britain’s new prime minister, Andy Burnham has appointed a new cabinet.
- On Monday 20 July, The Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP was appointed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
- On Tuesday 21 July, The Rt Hon Dame Diana Johnson DBE MP was appointed as Minister of State for Health and Social Care.
- On Tuesday 21 July, Karin Smyth MP was re-appointed as Minister of State for Health and Social Care.
- On Wednesday 22 July, Alison McGovern MP was appointed as Minister of State in the Department of Health and Social Care
- On Wednesday 22 July, James Frith MP was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department of Health and Social Care
Baroness Merron will remain as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department of Health and Social Care.
