The NHS 10-year plan focuses on shifting care from hospitals to communities; known as Neighbourhood Health is a transformative approach aimed at delivering more integrated community-based care. As a result, there will be delegated healthcare tasks delivered in the community. Some of these may be delegated to a care worker of personal assistant.

We are actively engaging Neighbourhood Health working groups in to support the Neighbourhood Health Implementation programme, and ensuring all aspects are considered in discussions around Designated Health tasks.
