The NHS 10-year plan focuses on shifting care from hospitals to communities, embracing digital tools, and prioritising prevention. Aiming to deliver better care, smarter use of technology, and address the root causes of poor health. Delegated healthcare, will enable some healthcare services to be provided in community settings empowering patients and  freeing up resources.

Employment Rights Bill & Fair Pay Agreement

As of Spring 2025, the Employment Rights Bill is making its way through Parliament with the expectation that it will pass into law by summer 2025. Following this, there will be a public consultation launched on the Fair Pay Agreement process, which will be an opportunity for the public and the care sector to engage with the government’s proposals.

Single Assessment Framework

Adult social care providers that deliver residential or personal care must be registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Care Provider Alliance is working with care providers and the CQC to inform and support the Single Assessment Framework which the CQC is using.
